Gallery Tour: Featured Exhibitions

Experience dynamic and playful works of art from two contemporary artists (who also happen to be married). In Wow Pop Bliss, Jimmy Kuehnle fills four galleries with touchable, interactive environments using inflatables that combine sound, light, space, and amplifiers to create unexpected experiences for visitors as they move under, through, and around these artworks. In Ordinary Sagas, artist Mimi Kato photographs herself as a vast range of characters with theatrical poses — from everyday Japanese citizens in suburbs to fantastical creatures in the woods — and embeds these images in large, colorful archival pigment prints to explore a range of contemporary issues.
