Ways with Words: Art and ELA Workshop for Educators

This one-day workshop for educators delves into the complex connections students can make between language and visual art. Participants learn and build on visual literacy skills with activities suitable for the classroom, including poetry strategies developed and led by award-winning CMA writer-in-residence Ray McManus. The session also features firsthand exploration of objects both in the CMA Collection and featured exhibition Lee Alexander McQueen & Ann Ray: Rendez-Vous.
To apply for a spot, register at the link provided. Applicants will be notified whether or not they have received a spot by October 23. All materials are provided, and each participant receives a digital toolkit and $200 stipend. Participants earn five hours of professional renewal credit. Free with registration.
