It's Time to Shine
The weather is warmer. The sun stretches longer. After a long and far too quiet year, the sounds of cheer are returning to our world. Let’s break out our best attire, slip into shimmering fabrics, and sip from sparkling glasses. The light is here, and it tells us what summer in the South has always told us: It's time to shine.
Join us for a champagne toast enveloped in a warm summer sunset and an evening of music and dancing surrounded by art. It's a new kind of celebration where the capacity is capped, but the joy is overflowing. After a long year apart, your museum can't wait to welcome you back to savor the delight of being together and revel in the light.
This fundraiser supports the museum’s award-winning arts education and community enrichment programs.

Cuisine
Libations include champagne to toast the sunset courtesy of Lexus’ signature outdoor Bubbly Bar as well as beer, wine, and specialty cocktails like the Chihuly Sunset Spritz and the Warhol Fizz at bars throughout the museum.
Loosh Culinaire will serve a tantalizing menu that includes oysters on the half shell alongside comfort favorites like truffled grilled cheese and pasta made to order in a large Parmigiano-Reggiano wheel bowl.
Dance
Pop-up dance moments created just for these spaces will be peppered throughout the evening, bringing bits of spontaneous art right where you are. Performed by University of South Carolina dance students Ellery Jernigan, Joseph Boyd, and Victoria Young.
Capacity is limited to allow for physical distancing.
Face coverings are encouraged while inside the museum.
