Tableaux Vivants: French Moderns

Places, everyone! Come take a unique guided tour of French Moderns: Monet to Matisse, 1850 – 1950 in which paintings come alive with tableaux vivants, an experience that is part theater, part visual arts. Directed by artist and CMA docent Velvet Underwood and comprised of local actors.

Underwood is a resident of Chapin, where she lives with her husband and two rescue dogs. When she isn't busy making art, she volunteers her time at the Newberry Arts Center and as a docent at the CMA.
