POPup - The Inflatable Movement: Redefining Architecture

Inspired by Wow Pop Bliss: Jimmy Kuehnle's Inflatable Art, Columbia Design League founders and architects Adrienne Montare and Tom Savory explore the origins of inflatable structures, the tumultuous times in which they were created, and the provocateurs who pushed the boundaries of art and architecture.  Montare worked for award-winning firms before becoming the executive director of The American Institute of Architects South Carolina. Savory developed critically acclaimed projects throughout the U.S. and Europe and before coming to Columbia.
