Film Screening: unseen
Friday, March 15 | Reception at 5:00 p.m. | Screening 6:00 – 8:00 p.m
Through experimental cinematography and sound, unseen reimagines the accessibility of cinema while exploring the intersections of immigration, disability, and mental health. Join the CMA and South Carolina ETV and Public Radio for a screening of unseen to learn the story of Pedro, a blind, undocumented immigrant, as he works to obtain his college degree, become a social worker, and support his family. A discussion about accessibility in the state of South Carolina with subject matter experts follows. Pre-film reception catered by La Cochinita Authentic Mexican Food.
Free with registration. Run time: 90 minutes.
