Art Class: Kantha Embroidery

Kantha is a beautiful stitch technique from the Indian subcontinent with a rich heritage rooted in storytelling and upcycling. Students learn to embroider a variety of Kantha stitches to create patterns. Taught by local Indian folk artist and educator Jugnu Verma. All materials and supplies provided. Ages 15 and up. Capacity limited to 10 participants to allow for physical distancing in the CMA studios.
