Dennis Kiel, Chief Curator since 2007 at The Light Factory Contemporary Museum of Photography and Film in Charlotte, provides his perspective on the featured exhibition, Annie Leibovitz: Pilgrimage. Dennis lectures frequently across the country, and has served as a member of the North Carolina Arts Council Visual Artist Fellowship Panel and the National Endowment for the Arts Panel. Kiel's gallery talk will be followed by a 3-course lunch with wine prepared by Chef Ryan Whittaker of 116 Espresso and Wine Bar. Each course will reflect in food a work of art and its influence on Chef Ryan.

Join USC faculty member and exhibition curator Jeffrey Makala for a gallery talk and guided tour through the exhibition "Art in the Library: Original Artwork in the Collections of the Irvin Department of Rare Books and Special Collections." Highlights will include: an interesting provenance to a seventeenth-century English portrait; doodles by famous authors; watercolors by an English Poet Laureate; and a landscape painted by Winston Churchill.
