Art du Jour Tour & Lunch

This special opportunity allows groups to enjoy an elegant lunch in the Museum's garden themed Orientation Gallery, designed and painted by trompe l'oeil artist Christian Thee. Lunch is followed by a private guided tour of the Museum’s Collection or traveling exhibition. This tour can accommodate up to 30 people.

Guided Tour

Interested in an in-depth tour of the Museum's Collection or traveling exhibition? Schedule a guided tour for your group. Trained docents in the Volunteer Educator Corp can share their knowledge and love of art with your group.

Self-Directed Group Tour

Schedule a date for your group to view the Museum's galleries at your own pace. Informative text panels and exhibition catalogues enhance your experience.

We want to share our love of art with you and your students! Whether it’s elementary school through college, home school or public, we’ve got the perfect tour! We are looking forward to enriching, inspiring and engaging your students through new discoveries in art.

Interactive gallery tours based on the Museum's art collection or temporary exhibitions can be combined with hands-on creative projects in the studios. All school groups, including self-guided school groups, must have a reservation. School Group Tour pricing is available Tuesday through Saturday each week.

  • $3 per person (minimum of 10 students)
  • Required number of chaperones free (one adult per 10 students) $3 extra per chaperone
  • $35 non-refundable reservation deposit fee
  • Please make a reservation at least 2 weeks prior to your visit

After completing your reservation, you will receive a pre-visit packet including a listing of nearby casual dining restaurants. Boyd Plaza, in front of the Museum, is a lovely spot for enjoying bag lunches on sunny days. Finlay Park, located within one block of the Museum, is also a great location to enjoy lunch.
